Edmonton Oilers Force Stanley Cup Final Game 7 With Dominant Win

Panthers and Oilers to Face Off in Decisive Matchup

Game 7 Set for Saturday, June 8th

The 2024 Stanley Cup Final is headed to a thrilling Game 7 after the Edmonton Oilers staged a remarkable comeback to tie the series against the Florida Panthers. The Oilers, who trailed 3-0 in the best-of-seven series, forced a deciding matchup with a dominant 5-1 victory in Game 6.

The Oilers' victory was sparked by a stellar performance from Connor McDavid, who scored two goals and assisted on another. Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman also found the back of the net for Edmonton, while Stuart Skinner made 32 saves to secure the win.

The Panthers, who had won the previous three games in the series, were unable to match the Oilers' intensity in Game 6. Aleksander Barkov scored the lone goal for Florida, while Sergei Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 30 shots.

Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final is set for Saturday, June 8th, at Rogers Place in Edmonton. The Oilers will be looking to win their first Stanley Cup since 1990, while the Panthers will be aiming to capture their first championship in franchise history.
