Edmonton, Alberta - The Edmonton Oilers once again staved off elimination in the fifth game of the Stanley Cup Final Tuesday night, defeating the Florida Panthers 5-3 in a thrilling contest.

Zach Hyman scored his playoff-leading 16th goal, while Stuart Skinner made 32 saves for the Oilers. The victory brings Edmonton within one win of their first Stanley Cup title since 1990.

The Panthers, meanwhile, are now one loss away from being swept in the series. They will need to win Game 6 at home on Thursday night to force a Game 7 in Edmonton.

The Oilers and Panthers will face off in Game 7 on Monday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton. The puck is scheduled to drop at 8 p.m. ET.
